In 2014, human rights and democracy worldwide continued to decline. The world overall democracy score declined by 7-percent, human rights by 10-percent, and civility by 17-percent since 2012.The United Nations (UN) and the UN Security Council performances further deteriorated since 2012.
The Report is intended to provide a tool that can be used to assess countries for their good domestic and international conduct. It also provides a great tool for the governments to prioritize their reform policies in order to improve their international standings. And, it can assist governmentsas well as international public and private entities in assessing their risks of conducting business in other countries.
